UBC’s annual Spring Gathering is right around the corner. Also known as the Family Fun Day, this staple Palm Sunday Gathering is a wonderful space to foster community for UBC members, MDO families, and friends of the faith community.
This year’s gathering will be making an intergenerational turn, focusing on intentional activities for participants of all ages, including kids and adults egg hunts, photo scavenger hunt on the UBC campus, a silent bake auction, and other activities.
The Gathering will kick-off after worship with lunch and the silent bake auction in the Fellowship Hall. If you want to get a head of the bidding, visit the bake auction table during the Coffee & Community time before worship. While the meal is free, we encourage you to bring your wallets ready to bid on some amazing treats. The proceeds will benefit the summer mission immersions.
Following lunch, there will be scheduled activities for all participants.
Are you interested in entering the bake auction? We need a variety of treats. Items should be delivered to the Fellowship Hall before or right after Sunday School. We want to give people a chance to bid during the Community & Coffee time before worship. After labeling the item with your name and the name of the treat, place it on the collection table. Please sign up for the auction through the office or by using this link: http://bit.ly/2Xq3i2j
We need volunteers to make the gathering a reality. Sign up to help set-up activities, hide eggs for the hunt, manage activities, or breakdown the activities after the gathering: http://bit.ly/2Xq3i2j
We hope you will invite others to join you at the gathering. What a great way to introduce people to the UBC faith community!
